Governor-elect of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and a national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ahmed Bola Tinubu, were among the dignitaries who witnessed the burial ceremony of Mufutau Hamzat, father of Obafemi Hamzat, deputy-governor elect of Lagos state over the weekend. Until his death Hamzat was olu of Afowora Sogade, a traditional stool in Ogun state. Below are more photos from the burial ceremony.

It was a gathering of the crème of society and many thronged the venue of the celebration to felicitate with the Oyo State Governor, Senator  Abiola Ajimobi  and his wife Florence as she marked her 60th birthday on Friday, April 5, 2019. This is probably the last party the couple would throw at the Government House before vacating office on May 29. Present at the August occasion were wife of the Vice President, Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo, the Ondo and Imo State First Ladies—Mrs Bisi Fayemi and Mrs Nkechi Okorocha. Joining were wives of Ogun State Governor-elect, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun and Mrs Sherifat Aregbesola.

Now we need to quickly tell you this!  Her name is Adebanke Afolayan and she is a turn up queen!! Banke loves life so much, she calls herself a foodie. Happily married to Nollywood actor, Gabriel Afolayan (the youngest of the Afolayans), they tied the knot April, 2018. Banke was a year older yesterday and she made sure she gave herself a nice treat by jetting off to Dubai and above all spoiling herself with sweet dishes. More photos below…

Celebrities yesterday stormed Mo Abudu’s daughter’s wedding to Adebola Makanjuola, which held at the Oriental hotel. The wedding which is Mo’s first major celebration was well attended by friends and family. More photos below….  Also see their pre-wedding photos below;
